Highway 61 is one of the most heavily brined roads in the region and the lake wind carries spray onto everything parked near it. Shore cars need the inside cleared of salt and the paint protected more than most, and the boats at Knife River and the Two Harbors marina need the spring and fall work like any on the bay.
How shore bookings work
Two Harbors is a planned run: we group shore appointments on the same day so the drive is worth it, which usually means a few days' notice rather than next-morning. Cabins up the shore toward Silver Bay can be added to a run when there are enough of them; call and ask.
