Pricing
How much does car detailing cost in Duluth?
Detailing is priced by the hour of skilled work it takes, and that depends on the car and its condition more than on the menu. Here is what moves the number, and how to see your exact price before you book.

"How much is a detail?" is the first question we get, and the honest answer is "which car, and how dirty?" A lightly used sedan and a work truck that has been a job site for three years are not the same afternoon, and pricing them the same would mean the sedan subsidises the truck. So we price by what the job actually is. Here is how.
What moves the price
- Vehicle size. A car, a mid-size SUV, a full-size SUV or truck, and a van or three-row SUV are four different amounts of carpet, glass and paint.
- Level of cleanliness. For interiors, the biggest lever. We use four levels, from mildly dirty to extremely dirty, and you pick the one that sounds like your car when you book. The four levels, described.
- Pet hair. Woven-in dog hair adds an hour or more and is priced as an add-on. Why it takes so long.
- Odor and smoke. A full shampoo plus vents and treatment, priced as an add-on.
- Interior, exterior or both. Both together is the most common booking and the best value per hour, because the van is already there.
- Paint work. Correction and ceramic coating are priced by package: correction from $320, coatings from $750 with correction included. The menu.
What a detail is not
It is not a car wash with a higher price. A wash is ten minutes on the outside. A detail is two to eight hours of work that reaches the seat rails, the vents, the inside of the windshield, the door jambs and the wheel wells, and leaves the paint protected. The difference, side by side.
Why mobile does not cost more
People assume a van coming to the house carries a premium. It does not, for a simple reason: a shop has rent, a bay and someone at a desk, and we have a van. The convenience is the product, not a surcharge. If the booking page shows a price for your address, that is the price, with no travel fee inside our regular area.
How to see your exact price
On the booking page, enter your address and your vehicle, pick the service and the level, and the price is shown before you choose a time. If you under-book the level, we tell you when we arrive and adjust; if you over-book, we tell you that too. New customers get 10% off the first detail.
Ways to spend less
- Book interior and exterior together.
- Do not let it go. A car detailed once a year stays at the lower levels. One detailed every three years starts at the top.
- Refresh cards between full details keep the car at the level you paid to reach. Refresh cards.
- Protect the paint once with a sealant or a coating, and every exterior after that is faster.
Do you charge extra for trucks?
A full-size truck is priced as a full-size vehicle, the same as a large SUV. A work truck at the "very dirty" level costs more than a clean one because it takes longer, not because it is a truck.
Is there a travel charge?
Not inside our regular area, which the booking page confirms by address. Farther out, we quote the trip first.
